Have you missed me?

If somebody has missed me and wondered where I have gone as I being so quiet, I just want to say that I have had a lot to do with house sales.

The house I live, where I have taken care of, built up an artist garden, will be sold.

An ambulance, ECG and an worried daughter and cousin make me realize it’s time to let go. To take care of someone’s house alone is too big to bear alone. So, the house is out for sale.

Who wants a garden of roses?

While I have a lot to do here in Sweden, some of my illustrations is in New York from today.

Time is out of joint

It was with a strange feeling to take a walk today. It felt like it was Spring in the air, far from Winter.

In this up side down inverted weather, back from the walk, I took the change to make some gardening.

Later in the evening I spent one hour painting.

It was a tranquil and relaxing way to celebrate the first day of the new year.

Aside time, so I’ve been busy. First I had to cure from the stomach flu, then I worked two nights and between different tours in life, I dotted by the list before the India trip.

The flight to Kolkata and accommodation where we will be are made. The trip from Kolkata to Vanasari is booked, The accomodation is in this writing time is under process. Thetrip from Vansari to Kolkata, one night’s accommodation is completed, the trip to Sweden is booked and paid.

The exhibit will be hold at the Birla Academy of Art & Culture and more details will come later.

Today I have not done much more than that I sowed some seeds that takes a long time germinate. Here is the the proof, step by step.:)
Tomorrow I’ll try to answer several emails because now, It is still very early, but I’ll go to bed.

Glass splinters

As I felt a little better today, I went out to the greenhouse to remove the glass splinters caused by the storm last week. Several panes of glass had broken and many had cracked by the wind.
But it was nice weather, the sun shone, it was a few degrees above freezing. It did not feel like we are in the middle of winter. Several plants show signs of spring.
Now I am indoors and I am completely exhausted. What I thought to do today is best to do tomorrow.

First weekend of 2015

The first weekend of the new year, I did something I rarely do. I took it easy. A glass of wine, some gardening magazines, many dreams, were my companion.

I took the time to enjoy my amaryllis that began flower, I went and bought me a bouquet of tulips and I flushed a little in the garden.

The storm that visit on Friday took away all the snow.

I look forward to spring when the flowers begin to show again. (but some flowers thinks that it’s Spring already ) Until then, I plan what seeds I will so this year, which flowers and vegetables, and how I can continue to create my garden.
Here, near the pear tree, which is embraced by the climbing rose Helenae Hybrid, I usually sit and paint my paintings and illustrations.

Very hard to believe that today is The Second Sunday in Advent and it’s hard to believe that we are in the middle of Winter.
